Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 15 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions cover three things: general rules for using the skerriestownfc.ie website (Section 1), specific terms if you purchase a brick or donate through our Buy-a-Brick Campaign (Section 2), and specific terms if you enquire about or take up Pitchside Advertising (Section 3). Section 1 applies to everyone using this site; Sections 2 and 3 apply only if you take part in those specific campaigns.

Section 1 — Website Terms of Use

About us

Skerries Town FC is a voluntary football club based at Park Lane, The Haven, Skerries, Co. Dublin, founded in 1990.

Using this site

This website is provided for general information about the club — our teams, pitches, news, and fundraising campaigns. By using it, you agree not to misuse it: for example, attempting to disrupt the site, scraping its content for commercial use, or impersonating the club.

Content and intellectual property

The Skerries Town FC crest, logo, photos, and written content belong to the club or are used with permission. You're welcome to share a link to our content (e.g. a news article), but please don't reproduce it elsewhere without asking us first.

Links to other sites

Our site links to third-party platforms we don't operate, including Clubforce (membership and lotto signup), Stripe (payments), the DDSL, and our social media pages. We're not responsible for the content, availability, or privacy practices of those sites — using them is subject to their own terms.

No warranty

We do our best to keep information on this site (fixtures, news, campaign progress) accurate and current, but we can't guarantee it's always error-free or up to date, and we're not liable for loss arising from relying on it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.

Changes

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

Section 2 — Buy-a-Brick Campaign Terms & Conditions

Thank you for supporting Skerries Town FC through our Buy-a-Brick Campaign. By purchasing a brick or making a donation, you agree to this section in addition to Section 1 above.

About the campaign

The Buy-a-Brick Campaign is a fundraising initiative to support the redevelopment of Park Lane, including a new all-weather pitch and modern clubhouse. Your purchase helps us reach our goal of raising €100,000 by June 2026.

Brick inscriptions

You may personalise your brick with a message. We reserve the right to reject any inscription we deem offensive, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the club's values — including profane, discriminatory, hateful, or defamatory content, or content promoting illegal activity. If we reject your inscription, we'll contact you to discuss alternative wording; if we can't agree, we'll offer a full refund before production begins.

Minors and parental consent

If you include a minor's name on a brick, you confirm you're their parent or legal guardian and consent to that name being displayed publicly on the Wall of Fame at Park Lane and the Virtual Wall on our website, and that you have the legal authority to give that consent on their behalf.

Installation timeline

We're targeting May 2026 for brick installation at Park Lane. This is an estimated date, subject to construction delays, weather, and other factors beyond our control. We'll keep you informed of significant changes but can't guarantee a specific date.

Virtual Wall

The Virtual Wall on our website is for illustration only — it shows a representation of how bricks may appear, but actual placement may vary and is determined during construction. We'll do our best to accommodate reasonable placement requests.

Refund policy

Once production of your custom brick begins, we can't offer refunds, since bricks are custom-made and can't be resold. If you have concerns, contact us before production begins. For donations (non-brick purchases), refunds may be available within 14 days of payment, subject to review.

Payment and processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We don't store your full payment card details. By completing a purchase, you confirm you're authorised to use the payment method provided.

Section 3 — Pitchside Advertising Terms

Pitchside and wall hoarding packages are offered for a 3-year term, at the price shown on the Pitchside Advertising page at the time of your enquiry. Pricing may change for future terms.

Submitting the enquiry form is not a binding order. Final terms — payment, exact hoarding position, and logo/artwork requirements — are confirmed directly with the club before your advert goes up.

At the end of your 3-year term, your hoarding will be removed unless you renew. We'll aim to contact you in advance of your term ending, but renewal isn't automatic.

If you wish to end your sponsorship early, please contact us to discuss — refunds for the remaining term are at the club's discretion.

10% of Pitchside Advertising sponsorship income is donated to our charity partner, Skerries Youth Support Services (SYSS).

By purchasing a brick or making a donation, you acknowledge that you've read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Terms & Conditions page.
