Sinead Cunnane Finally Receives Her International Caps

More than 20 years on, Skerries sporting legend Sinead Cunnane has been presented with the international caps she earned representing Ireland at U17 and U19 level.
It was a very special moment for Sinead Cunnane this weekend, as she finally received the international caps she earned while representing her country more than 20 years ago.
Sinead represented Ireland at both U17 and U19 level in the 2001–2002 season, but the caps that recognise those appearances had never been presented to her until now.
Anyone who knows Sinead will know she is so much more than a footballer. She is a true local sporting legend, having competed at the highest level in every sport she has played and represented her county, her country and the town of Skerries with incredible talent, determination and pride.
For all of us at Skerries Town FC, it was a real privilege to play a small part in helping Sinead receive the recognition she deserves. Our thanks also go to the FAI for helping make this happen.
Congratulations, Sinead. Your caps were always earned, and your place in Skerries sporting history was always assured.
One Town. One Team. One Dream.
